For a guy like me that has literally watched DeAndre Hopkins embarrass defenders on the field and the court since his high school days, Sunday’s outrageous touchdown catch was no surprise at all. None.
Now don’t for one second thing I’m downplaying it or taking it away, but I know just how special of a talent he is. He’s been doing this for YEARS.
With the game on the line, Hopkins found just enough room to climb the ladder and secure Kyler Murray’s prayer in the end done Sunday evening. A former star at Clemson and in Houston with the Texans, Hopkins finished the night with seven catches for 127 yards and one touchdown in the 32-30 triumph over Buffalo.
